So, Happy Valentine’s Day, Then ;)

I’ve never really celebrated Valentine’s Day in my whole life, actually. Because love means to be shared everyday, not just in one Valentine’s Day, right? Haha..so cliche isn’t it? Hmm..I want to tell you a bit of my Val’s Day this year. I spent it in the lab with my lab partner and my co-supervisor. Such a “nice” day. Anyway, I sort of enjoyed it though. Never mind.

Few days ago I made a poem. I’m not a kind of person who like to write poems. So, I guess this poem is kinda special. Hihi :p. It’s up to you to define who are “this girl” and “this guy”.

This Grown Up Innocent Girl

This girl’s trying to find the one

Defining the Mr. perfect for her life

Then suddenly this guy comes

Out of a sudden

Out of the blue

Oh, he’s far from perfect

He brings nothing for this girl

He’s just being him

But what’s wrong with this girl?

She starts daydreaming about this guy

This far-from-perfect guy

How come?

And this girl keeps questioning and questioning

“Such a nonsense”, this girl thinks

“But since when love makes sense?”, she hears her heart shouts

This girl confused

She surrenders, eventually

After this guy decides to leave

She left behind, disappointed

Nothing she can do right now

Other than hoping and wishing

He knows, her heart is there for him

Because finally this innocent girl realizes

His imperfection brings perfection to him

That’s what this girl loves about this guy

Love isn’t all about perfection

Love is about accepting the imperfection

And now this girl learn about that

This girl suddenly smiles

Yeah, this is love

Love is funny

It gives ticklish sensation inside her tummy

And she’s wondering

Does that guy feel the same thing as she is?

Because she hopes so

I dedicate that poem to “mon soleil“. I finally can’t deny this feeling that I have for you. Come back to ncl, please. :)

Happy valentine’s day, my dear friends. Hope you all have a beautiful and pinkish day :*
